Trip

We are currently in Macedonia attending the joint AIM/AEP Assembly. This is a meeting available for missionaries that serve in Kosovo and Albania. There are about 200 people here not including children. I was really impressed to see how many national missionaries there are in Albania and their goal is to go to all of the countries where the Albanians fled to during the times of war. They really feel a burden to have their people know Christ. What happens at an Assembly? The days start off with worship and then a morning devotional. Break time for coffee and sweets. Morning message from a pastor that is from Budapest and then it is time for lunch and then afternoon business sessions. One of the main reasons for Linda and I coming on this trip was to serve at the Assembly. I have been in charge of announcements and running the computer during the main sessions. It was not the easiest thing to do as I had to run praise songs in Albanian. Not easy to do when you can't speak the language. Linda has been busy setting up for the breaks and helping minister to the children while their parents have been in the meetings. Today is Thursday and we are leaving the Assembly tonight and driving back to Kosovo. We will be staying the next two days with another GEM teammate who just arrived last month to work in Kosova. Tomorrow we have been invited by the field director to travel to a village and participate in an outreach event. I will have another update after the event. Please pray for safe travels and for the outreach event. Blessings!!!
